Trust the Branding Process and Discover Valuable Results
Think Tank Creative started working with Vallie Timm, the owner of Kraken’s Cup, in 2018.
Opening a tea garden and celebrating tiny delicious sandwiches has long been a passion for Vallie. In bringing her vision to Knoxville’s streets, at least two previous designers failed to capture the concept in her mind for a tea service logo.
The challenge for Think Tank Creative was to understand Vallie’s vision, align that vision with her desired customer’s perceptions, and bridge the connection with a logo that embodied everything Vallie desired.
Illustrated by the exceptional artist Terri Francik (view portfolio), the final logo is full of character and charm.
The complete branding process typically takes 12 to 16 weeks and includes brand vision, mission, customer avatar(s), attributes, values, voice/tone, archetypes, goals (collectedly known as positioning), brand strategy, as well as competitive analysis, mood boards, empathy boards, avatar boards, and brandscapes. After this research and clarity, the logo design process begins.
